I don't know where the time has gone, but Peggles is almost 11 months old! Admittedly, I have become one of those sappy Moms that misses my baby actually being a baby! I haven't posted in some time, so I'll skip to the highlights:
Teeth=7
Hair=curly and still not blonde-odd.
Height=28.5"
Weight=21.5lbs
Ear infections=4+ (tubes go in next week)
Walking=a step or two here and there
Vacations=2 (NY and FL)
She's been such a wonderful baby after the new antibiotics kicked in, but I think there are more teeth en route. She's jabbering all the time and has looked at Kyle and said "Daddy" or "Dada" more than once. She and I actually have a little game-she says "Dada" and I say "Mama", and we get louder as we repeat each over and over until she starts laughing. I'm not counting anything as her first word until I hear her say "Mama"!
We're working on clapping and waving bye-bye. She uses dancing motions with her hands for clapping, but every now and then she gets them put together for an actual clap. She loves loves loves mac n cheese, hates anything peach flavored and stuffs goldfish until her cheeks puff out and then spits them out all at once-in a blah motion. As I write about these quirky little things that I know about her, it makes me smile and feel so overwhelmed with love for my little girl. The day to day 'duties' as a Mom can blind you from all the joys. I have to remind myself often to just breathe and enjoy each phase....since they're over in a flash.
