Merry Christmas Paige!

Miss Paige had an amazing first Christmas! She smiled and made lots of crazy noises while Kyle and I opened her gifts. She loved her Leap Frog learning table from Grandpa and Grandma Uhlis, her ornament from Aunt Cole and her Cabbage Patch dolls from Grandpa and Grandma Fleming. After all the excitement of seeing her presents she was wiped out and took a nice long nap. She woke up as "Peggy", her evil alter ego. I told her that Santa is always watching, even though there were 364 more days until the next Christmas-she better be on her best behavior....didn't work.

We tried putting her in the crib for the first time and it was not pretty! We were up at 12, 1, 5, and 7am. This is extremely unusual for our Princess who normally sleeps 7+ hours per night. She has taken up residence in our room once again. I know that we should just suck it up and get over this hump...but when you're completely exhausted and you know how to get sleep, it's much easier to resort back to the good ol' pack n play!

Paige is getting so big! 12lbs 15oz and 23 1/4" at her 2 month doctor's visit. I had to take her for her first round of shots, and I sobbed like a baby. She screamed and had big ol' crocodile tears, but was smiling by the time we were ready to go. Kyle is definitely handling the next round. My poor baby...

Princess Paige Rules the Roost!

A few of my favorite pics of Paige:

These past 2 months have been such a whirlwind! Paige is growing so fast! She was already 22 1/2 inches long and 10lbs 12oz at her 1 month appointment-I can't imagine what her new stats will be!
Milestones:
She's a pretty good sleeper, at least 5 hours a night, with the occassional 7 hour night, (we live for those!).
She smiles...oh how I love her smiles!!! I spend half of my day getting her to smile, (which might explain why I have a hard time squeezing in a daily shower)!
She holds up her head with an occassional wobble.
She is finding her voice! Sometimes she'll make a noise and then giggle at herself and my heart melts!
She's learning that her hands can reach out and touch things. She can't quite reach and grab what she wants, but she's starting to try!

I go back to work part time on Monday... I know I'm going to be an emotional wreck, but at least she won't be in daycare yet. The princess is giving orders-time to feed her!
